He may not have collected any points tonight but I'm sure it didn't matter to Los Angeles Kings prospect Maxim Kitsyn as his Mississauga St. Michael's Majors advance to Sunday's Memorial Cup Final with a 3-1 over the Kootenay Ice tonight.

With the win, the host Majors will now take the QMJHL champion Saint John Sea Dogs in the championship game, who have been waiting around for the last couple of days after clinching a bye right into the finals.

Devante Smith-Pelly scored twice for Mississauga and, although Kootenay made it interesting by pulling to within a goal, Chris DeSousa iced the game and the victory for the Majors with an empty-netter.

Congratulations to Maxim Kitsyn and the Majors for booking a spot in the Memorial Cup Championship and good luck to them as they will have theirr hands full against the high-powered Sea Dogs on Sunday.
