Team USA is going home after they lost the opening elimination round matchup against the undefeated Czech Republic, losing 4-0 thanks largely to former NHLer Jaromir Jagr and his hat-trick.

Judging by the score alone, it's an understatement to say that the Americans had an uneventful outing today. Jack Johnson of the Los Angeles Kings finished with a -1 rating while only recording a single shot on goal.

In seven games in the tournament overall, Johnson had a goal, two assists with a -4 rating. He also registered 20 shots on goal while picking up eight penalty minutes.

With Johnson and the United States, Jonathan Bernier remains the only King in the World Hockey Championships as he and Canada get ready for their matchup with Russia tomorrow. It is unlikely Bernier will see any action, though, as James Riemer of the Toronto Maple Leafs will likely get the call between the pipes for the Canadians.
